Precision Strip is Expanding - Bowling Green, KY

Precision Strip is pleased to announce our plans to expand in Kentucky, by adding a second location in the state!

Precision Strip plans to build an 80,000 sq. ft. facility located in Bowling Green, approximately 30 miles from our existing plant operations in Woodburn.  This new facility will have one slitting line designed, built and installed by PSI, and will be serviced by rail thru CSX.  The new site will be located on 20 acres, and will have the ability to be expanded in the future to support additional growth.   

The new plant will be a nice complement to the Woodburn facility.  It will allow PSI to add processing capacity in the south central Kentucky region, an area that is experiencing healthy growth in the markets we serve, particularly automotive.

This is an exciting step for Precision Strip.   It provides geographic growth, competitive advantages, and strengthens our position as the number one toll processor in the metals industry.
